Head of Anesthesiology is responsible for the efficient operation of anesthesia services. Develops, implements, and maintains anesthesia procedures and practices. Being a Head of Anesthesiology works closely with hospital staff, department directors, and physicians to ensure the highest standards of quality and service are maintained. Manages a staff of anesthesia technicians and nurses. Additionally, Head of Anesthesiology requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a top management. The Head of Anesthesiology manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Head of Anesthesiology typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     HCA Healthcare Anesthesia Services is currently seeking a BC/BE General Anesthesiologist to join the cohesive, established team at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital in Trinity, FL. This team has an outstanding culture and supports work/life balance. 

    Opportunity Highlights/Qualified Candidates:
    • Staffing model of 7 Anesthesiologists and 18 AAs covering 12 Sites of service. Medical Direction of CAAs.
    • Diverse mix of cases including General Surgery, Ortho, Endo, GYN, Vascular, OB, and EP, Spine, etc. No Trauma.
    • Average work week is 40-50 hours plus in-house overnight call 1:7 3p - 7a. Post call day off.
    Incentive/Benefits Package:
     
    • Competitive compensation with additional pay if Clinician picks-up extra shift.
    • Start Date Bonus up to $50K and relocation assistance available.
    • 10 weeks PTO and $5K in CME annually
