Head of Anesthesiology is responsible for the efficient operation of anesthesia services. Develops, implements, and maintains anesthesia procedures and practices. Being a Head of Anesthesiology works closely with hospital staff, department directors, and physicians to ensure the highest standards of quality and service are maintained. Manages a staff of anesthesia technicians and nurses. Additionally, Head of Anesthesiology requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a top management. The Head of Anesthesiology manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Head of Anesthesiology typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Anesthesiology Physician
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Day 8;10;12;24 Pay Rate: $324.97 - $324.95
This facility is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details and requirements for this opportunity:- Schedule: 8, 10, 12 and 24 hour shifts available.
- Setting: Hospital
- Types of cases: Variety of all cases; will work around different skill sets.
- Credentialing time: Temp privileges available
- Requirements: Board certification
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Cerner - transitioning to EPIC
