Head of Anesthesiology is responsible for the efficient operation of anesthesia services. Develops, implements, and maintains anesthesia procedures and practices. Being a Head of Anesthesiology works closely with hospital staff, department directors, and physicians to ensure the highest standards of quality and service are maintained. Manages a staff of anesthesia technicians and nurses. Additionally, Head of Anesthesiology requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a top management. The Head of Anesthesiology manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Head of Anesthesiology typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. Summary: The Head Lifeguard at Daland Swim School leads our Red Cross Lifeguard Certification classes. They teach procedures on how to rescue and revive those that are experiencing a drowning, accident or medical emergency. The Head LG is responsible for coordinating classes, evaluating the performance of the students, and ensuring equipment is maintained.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED. Experience as a certified lifeguard and/or youth swim instructor is required.
Certificates and Licenses: CPR/First Aid certification required. We provide all needed training and offer the required certifications at our facility.
