Care Professional Needed for Male Client

Location - Hilton Head Island, SC

Join our team as a compassionate Care Professional providing non-medical assistance to male wheelchair bound client within his home on Lady's Island, SC. As a Dawson and Dawson Care Professional, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our client by assisting with various daily tasks and offering companionship. We are currently seeking to hire a care professional for our client located on beautiful Hilton Head Island, SC. Morning shift is currently

Monday -Friday

Morning Shift: Between 7:30 am - 1:00 pm

*Shift differentials offered for 2nd shift and overnight when applicable**

Qualifications:

• Individual must live in or near Hilton Head Island
• CNA or Previous Care professional experience is preferred due to client having dementia.
• Must be able to work with animals (Note that all pets are calm and house trained).
• Individual must be 100% Reliable and punctual.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills is also a must.
• Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
• Compassionate and dedicated to providing excellent care to the client.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized care and support to client, including grooming, dressing, bathing, meal preparation, and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Assist with errands and light household tasks to ensure a comfortable living environment.
• Offer specialized care for individuals with conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's disease, and physical disabilities.
• Administer medication reminders according to prescribed schedules.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided, including care notes, ADL's, incident documentation, etc.
• Promptly report any client concerns or changes in their condition to the supervisor.
• Respond swiftly and effectively in case of emergency situations.
• Attend monthly staff meetings to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
• Complete required in-service training and ongoing education modules to meet state-mandated guidelines.
