Head Teller ensures the daily operational activities of the teller line are executed with accuracy and fulfill required service standards. Processes and records routine transactions, handles complex or unusual customer transactions, and answers more complex customer inquiries. Being a Head Teller depending on policy, may authorize certain transactions. Assists with teller onboarding, training, and guidance. Additionally, Head Teller is responsible for vault oversight and the daily auditing, reporting, and balancing processes. Oversees each teller's daily reconciliation and assists if needed. Ensures that tellers comply with all operating, regulatory, and security policies and procedures. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a manager. The Head Teller supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Head Teller typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Lewis County Head Start is a free preschool for children ages three and four and works with families and children to cultivate children’s school readiness skills including social and emotional development. Our desire is for every child to be successful. We offer four, six, and seven hour class day models at five different locations throughout Lewis County.
Lewis County Head Start Teacher/Family Educators are responsible for providing classroom education. Positional duties and requirements include:
· Daily individualized one-to-one and large/small group activities to address the unique needs and strengths of all children in the classroom.
· Maintain a welcoming classroom environment that makes children/families feel comfortable.
· Work with parents to determine parental needs and interest for future parent education sessions.
· Conduct Home Visits and Parent-Teacher Conferences to develop Parent-Teacher child goals.
· Support parents as the primary educator of their child, sharing information on educational strategies, classroom progress, child health/development/behavior, and Family Engagement, Mapping & Goals.
· Assist with meal prep and service for children.
