Job Summary
The Head Housekeeper plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the establishment. This leadership position involves overseeing the housekeeping staff, ensuring that all areas are cleaned to the highest standards, and implementing effective housekeeping procedures. Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure efficient workflow.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Conduct regular inspections of all areas to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.
• Address any guest concerns or complaints related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff schedules and supply usage.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hospitality or hotel management with a focus on housekeeping.
• Strong knowledge of custodial practices, floor care techniques, and industrial cleaning methods.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
