Teacher Assistant. This is a 10-month, full-time (Monday - Friday, 8a. – 4:00p)position in the Lowville II classroom, that follows the school calendar. Candidates must have one of the following: a Child Development Associate, 16 hours or more of college course work in early childhood education, or be enrolled in college. Candidates must also possess exceptional interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, parents, children and the community, as well as have strong organizational and writing skills.

Benefits Include: $15.36 - $16.50 per hour, three weeks of paid vacation, paid holidays off, one paid sick day per month, three personal days per school year, college tuition reimbursement, mental health support, and employer supported retirement plan. Unemployment is available during the summer months.

Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and hold a clean driver’s license.
