Health and Safety Administrator is responsible for identifying hazardous workplace conditions. Takes samples and measurements of hazardous materials, and coordinates the removal of physical, biological and chemical hazards. Being a Health and Safety Administrator trains employees on safety, company policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to employee safety. Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state health and safety regulations and ensures necessary records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines. Additionally, Health and Safety Administrator participates in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) inspections, providing inspectors with appropriate documents and identifying safety measures. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor. To be a Health and Safety Administrator typically requires 0-2 years of related experience. The Branch Administrator supports a professional team, including new customer set up, quotes, pricing, and processing sales orders.
Duties include:
Posting all payments and payment types excluding cash and checks, receipts, discounts, allowances, price difference, returns and other charge backs to customer accounts timely and accurately. The expectation is that postings occur the same day or next day.
Maintaining thorough, well organized customer files by scanning documents into the database and sorting and filing by customer.
Research and negotiate chargeback claims (an aggressive approach is needed to obtain chargeback recoveries).
Invoice originator must track and investigate deductions (chargebacks) from customer payments. Must verify with department managers to make sure we are being charged correctly for the chargeback. Need to dispute and negotiate if there is any discrepancy with chargeback.
Process, transmit and run credit card transactions for customer sales and refunds.
Investigate and respond back on a timely basis to merchant services disputes regarding chargebacks for sales with supporting documents such as proof of delivery and copies of invoices to ensure there are no inaccurate deductions taken out from merchants.
Perform other accounting duties as requested.
