Health and Safety Administrator jobs in Kansas City, MO

Health and Safety Administrator is responsible for identifying hazardous workplace conditions. Takes samples and measurements of hazardous materials, and coordinates the removal of physical, biological and chemical hazards. Being a Health and Safety Administrator trains employees on safety, company policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to employee safety. Ensures compliance with all applicable federal and state health and safety regulations and ensures necessary records are maintained and prepared according to established guidelines. Additionally, Health and Safety Administrator participates in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) inspections, providing inspectors with appropriate documents and identifying safety measures. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in area of specialty. Typically reports to a supervisor. To be a Health and Safety Administrator typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.     Nursing Home Administrator (Executive Director) Responsibilities

    The Nursing Home Administrator (Executive Director) oversees the day-to-day operations of the facility to meet State and Federal regulations and supervises all department managers to ensure the facility is in compliance. The Administrator is responsible for the delivery of clinical services integrated with business plans while meeting or exceeding quality, clinical and utilization standards, performance measures, and financial productivity objectives. As a Nursing Home Administrator (Executive Director), you will also ensure premier customer service while facilitating resolutions of resident care issues.

     

    Nursing Home Administrator (Executive Director) Requirements

    • Active License as required by state law.
    • Possess excellent knowledge and experience in regulatory compliance, human resource development and management, nursing management, budget processes, and census and business development.
    • Excellent work history in the long-term care industry.
    • Current knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations.
    • Previous Nursing Home Administrator (Executive Director) experience in Skilled Nursing Facility required.
    • Commitment to team-oriented outcomes and quality care.
    • Possess effective communication skills to maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, physicians, consultants, providers, and governmental agencies, their representatives, and the community at large.
    • Ability to implement facility and company philosophy of care.
    • Ability to maintain a neat, well-groomed, and professional appearance.
    • Must be dependable.
