The Exercise Coach® #1 Fastest growing personal training franchise in America is looking to grow our team and additional part-time coach/personal trainers at The Exercise Coach Overland Park. We provide the opportunity to work in a brand new and state of the art fitness facility, partnering with like minded fitness coaches helping people from within our community build Stronger Muscles, Stronger Health and Stronger Self.
No fitness experience needed as all training, study, and certification training will be provided prior to starting. Ideal candidate is people-oriented, enjoys one-on-one conversation and relationships, and is passionate about good health. The right candidate needs to be available 26 hours per week and willing to work some Saturday mornings.
The Exercise Coach specializes in one-on-one and small-group personal training using innovative, high-tech and proprietary equipment brand called Exerbotics. We specialize in overall strength training. We are the ideal fitness solution for those who are busy, those who don’t prefer the gym scene, those who are not exercise enthusiasts, those who are afraid of getting hurt, or those who have previous injuries. Our clients achieve meaningful, quantitative results that matter to overall health with no more than two, 20-minute strength building focused workouts per week.
Job Qualifications
Ability to successfully complete:
- The Exercise Coach Certification course
- Nutrition Playbook Certification course
- Ability to get a valid CPR/AED certificate from nationally-recognized provider.
- Must be eligible to work in USA.
- Must be people-oriented and well-spoken
Physical Demands
Standing and walking, bending and reaching are required most of the day. Pushing, pulling, climbing, and lifting is required frequently. Willing and able to assist clients on and off equipment. Ability to perform studio workouts per company standards.
Responsibilities:
- Exercise Instruction
- You must design and deliver exercise instruction within brand standards and per the directives of your Studio Management.
- Administrative Responsibilities
- Administration of client accounts, including the completion of all necessary forms, credit card charges, data entry, and clerical duties as directed by Studio management.
- Respond promptly to all email correspondence, phone calls, and text messages from clients, prospects, co-workers, and supervisors as needed.
- Client Acquisition
- Perform and log all tasks necessary to execute our client acquisition strategy as directed by Studio Management.
- Conduct initial consultations and promotional sessions with prospective clients when assigned.
- Client Retention & Re-Acquisition
- Aid in making the customer experience fun and meaningful to encourage client retention.
- Studio Culture
- Demonstrate a polite, professional, and helpful attitude towards clients and co-workers.
- Maintain a cooperative and “team” mentality at all times.
- Always remain productive while on the clock.
- Demonstrate the value of our brand by actively participating in our fitness program.
- Personal Development
- Act as an effective brand ambassador inside and outside the studio.
- Maintain a functional knowledge of fitness-related topics, especially those discussed in corporate communications from the brand.
- Model professionalism through appropriate attire, language, attitude, personal hygiene, promptness, honesty, and integrity.
- Work Schedule
- You must work the schedule per the directives of Studio Management.
- You must comply with Company policies in regard to requests for schedule changes, required notifications in the event you are running late, overtime approvals and all other rules regarding your shift.
