Health Informatics Director jobs in Greenville, MS

Health Informatics Director directs an organization's clinical biostatistics or health informatics department. Oversees the analysis, management and performance of health information data to aid patient care. Being a Health Informatics Director monitors latest software and technology to keep processes up-to-date and efficient. Communicates with other departments and team members to identify new sources of data, ensure data is used effectively, and establish new initiatives. Additionally, Health Informatics Director requires a master's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Health Informatics Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. To be a Health Informatics Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function.     As the Branch Director, you will:

    • Be responsible for the service delivery and respond to issues with urgency
    • Partner with sales to grow the branch and fully support the growth objectives
    • Manage the overall operations of the branch to achieve defined clinical, operational, and financial goals
    • Utilize the available tools to enhance effectiveness of coding, service utilization and clinical discipline deployment to realize patient-specific goals

    Experience to Deliver on Our Mission

    • Current RN License, valid state driver's license, and reliable transportation.
    • Minimum of 2 years of healthcare operations management experience, preferably within Home Health or Hospice.
    • Knowledge of business and fiscal management, governmental regulations, and accreditation standards.
