Job description includes but not limited to:
• Follow all administrative requirements in relation to class rosters, student learning, grading and testing practices, and related departmental reports.
• Teach assigned courses every semester, including summer.
• Submit syllabi in accordance with university guidelines and distribute to students prior to the first day of class.
• Remain available to students for academic advisement and mentoring and announce and keep office hours that are convenient to both students and the professor.
• Establish and maintain professional and ethical boundaries with colleagues, students, and others in the learning environment.
• Engage in scholarly activities, professional development, and service.
• strive to develop among students, respect for others and their opinions, by demonstrating respect for each student as a learner and as an individual.
• Maintain student records, respecting FERPA and other privacy standards.
• Establish and maintain instructor presence in the inline environment.
• Communicate effectively.
