Health Informatics Manager manages a clinical biostatistics or health informatics team. Oversees the analysis, management and performance of health information data to aid patient care. SUMMARY:
Under the general direction of the Behavioral Health Director, plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the services of the Substance Abuse Program and Intern Training Program within Behavioral Health Services at UIHS. Assists the Director in the over-all administration of the Behavioral Health department. Supervises the work of professional, technical, and clerical staff. Provides appropriate and culturally sensitive direct services to UIHS clients. This position requires a high degree of professional knowledge in the areas of both Mental Health and Substance Abuse treatment/support services. This position is primarily clinical with direct client care representing approximately three out of five days.
