The Informaticist focuses upon meeting the electronic medical record (EMR) end user IT related needs for UnityPoint Health Des Moines’ hospital based and ambulatory areas/departments. This role ensures support of the EMR and other clinical and nonclinical systems as assigned related to adoption, implementation, support, optimization, change management, communication, issue management, business continuity, and downtime recovery. The Clinical Informaticist will work directly with all levels within UPH DM in support of strategic initiatives and patient experience in collaboration with UPH IT resources.
