Health Informatics Manager manages a clinical biostatistics or health informatics team. Oversees the analysis, management and performance of health information data to aid patient care. Being a Health Informatics Manager monitors latest software and technology to keep processes up-to-date and efficient. Communicates with analysts, healthcare providers, and management to establish new processes and analyses, and to tailor current data processes to best help providers. Additionally, Health Informatics Manager requires a master's degree. Typically reports to a director or head of a unit/department. The Health Informatics Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be a Health Informatics Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. We are seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Behavioral Health Care Manager to join our collaborative, multidisciplinary Tailored Care Management (TCM) team designed to provide whole-person, integrated health care.

    *2500 Sign-on bonus

     What You’ll Do

     Port Health’s Tailored Care Management (TCM) team provides whole-person, integrated health care through evaluation, assessment, care planning, coordinating, tracking, and monitoring outcomes of individuals served. The Care Manager focuses on closing gaps for physical and mental health, social determinants of health, and other non-health related needs. This position travels to Craven County and surrounding areas.

      How You’ll Benefit 

     You’ll earn a annual salary of $51 ,000-$53,000k depending on skills and experience. This full-time position offers a flexible schedule Monday-Friday from 8 am-5 pm. We also offer benefits to those regularly working 30 hours or more per week.

    What We’re Looking For

     To join our team, you must be willing to provide services in various community locations as needed, rotate after hours support coverage, knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with Electronic Health Records software, have a passion for helping others, and able to link clients to community resources. We also require the following: 

    • Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred
    • Able to be credentialed as a Mental Health Qualified Professional
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience with the mental health and/or substance use disorder population
    • A valid driver's license, current auto insurance and a good driving record
    • Must be able to work independently, have strong verbal and written communication skills
