FIELD ENGINEER - INSPECTOR
Experienced or entry level full-time position working out of Ardaman & Associates, Inc. The qualified candidate will be responsible for field inspection of heavy earthwork projects involving earthen dam embankment construction, phosphogypsum stack expansion and closure construction, drain/pipe installation and backfill, soil density testing, geosynthetic liner installation monitoring, concrete sampling and testing, and miscellaneous field and laboratory soil index and classification testing. This position will provide a dynamic, team-oriented work environment and an exceptional opportunity for career growth.
Requirements:
· A Bachelor’s Degree or attending a university program in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or Construction Management
· The successful candidate will be technically superior and must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· The ability to travel and work at remote sites.
· The ability to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
· The ability to walk up and down slopes and on uneven terrain.
· The ability to work outdoors in the heat for up to 8 - 12 hours per day.
· The ability to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
· Excellent driving record within company standards.
· Must be able to pass background screening requirements including criminal history, motor vehicle check, drug testing, etc.
