General Summary:
The IT Strategy & Operations Director ensures the streamlined operations of the Technology, Product, and Data & Analytics Departments in alignment with the business objectives of the organization. This individual will plan, coordinate, direct, and design technology related activities of the organization across peers and executives, as well as provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities, metrics, OKRs, KPIs, operating model implementation. The IT Director will work closely with the CIO, and technology VPs as well as decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support an operating model that delivers cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. This person will also define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices. The breadth of responsibility of an IT Director extends to include a deep understanding of the business process, function, and strategy and a strong liaison with the business leaders. The breadth of responsibility spans multiple business functions and departments, and includes identifying future organizational needs, upskilling, and accountability for tracking and achieving department objectives.
