Position Purpose Under general management, oversee operations for a branch office or product line. Manage operational procedures for a product and manage/train operations staff. Audit operational procedures periodically. Develop and monitor budget for the operations group. Principal Duties & Responsibilities Manage operations workflow and procedures for the Transportation products including participation in set up of new products. Manage and train operations staff. Conduct audits of procedures to ensure operational compliance. Develop and monitor operations budget. Prepare monthly and quarterly statistics. Assist in special projects and other duties as needed. Education & Experience Requires a minimum of an associate’s degree and/or 5-8 years of experience in a similar field or position; bachelor’s degree preferred – accounting background a plus. Knowledge, Skills, & Competencies Ability to use analytical methods in branch operations to find creative yet workable solutions. Ability to communicate findings and recommendations to internal and external contacts regarding branch operations/product matters. Ability to use spreadsheet and database software to summarize and analyze large amounts of data. Ability to apply a strategic perspective to improve processes and systems in operations to enhance performance. Ability to manage and develop subordinates to ensure increased performance.
