Health Insurance Operations Manager manages and maintains daily health insurance operations in multiple service areas, including account installation, implementation, client support, contract administration, claim processing, and enrollment and eligibility. Handles and settles complicated customer service issues which can not be resolved by lower level staff. Being a Health Insurance Operations Manager monitors performance of each service area. Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Health Insurance Operations Manager typically reports to senior management or Director. Under the direction of the Director of Safety and Security, the Safety Operations Manager will ensure that all AnMed facilities are in compliance with regulatory agency standards and requirements. The Safety Operations Manager will determine if safety hazards exist and when necessary will recommend corrective actions. The Safety Operations Manager will oversee the workers’ compensation program. The Safety Operations Manager will perform audits and inspections, evaluating risk and assist in evaluation of departmental safety efforts and practices. The Safety Operations Manager will manage the AnMed’s Emergency and Disaster Preparedness Program.
Education/Qualifications
· BA or BS Degree, due to the level of written regulations from state and federal agencies, it requires this level of education to interpret and comply with these standards.
And/or
· Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in working with regulatory requirements (i.e., OSHA, DHEC, Joint Commission) with regards to safety issues.
