SCA EDI Helpdesk Analyst

Location(s): This is a virtual role. The ideal candidate will be located within 50 miles of one of the following NGS Elevance Health office locations: Harrisburg, PA, or Syracuse, NY.

Work hours: 8:45 am-5:15 pm, EST

Pay: The pay for this position varies by location and is set by the government.

The pay is as follows:

• Harrisburg, PA - $19.40
• Syracuse, NY - $20.42

The SCA EDI Helpdesk Analyst is responsible for providing process support to users of the electronic data interchange (EDI) transaction processes by direct or indirect methods. 

How you will make an impact:

• Responds to EDI inquiries and/or requests for assistance from customers and peers.
• Identifies, investigates, and researches questions and problems.  
• Resolves issues promptly via an immediate resolution or a call-back or transfer to another associate. 
• Understand any updates to software in use, changes in electronic file formats, or changes in regulations that impact the exchange of data.
• Participates in the design of business cases for testing and in release testing of standard systems.
• Assists in department initiatives to improve performance, produce reports, and introduce system enhancements.
• May provide guidance and/or training to lower-level associates or external customers.

Minimum Requirements:

• Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years of claims processing, customer service, or para-technical helpdesk support experience.
• This position is part of our NGS (National Government Services) division which, per CMS TDL 190275, requires foreign national applicants meet the residency requirement of living in the United States at least three of the past five years.

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Capabilities:

• Strongly prefer the ability to gather and understand detailed information while conveying information in an easily understood manner.
• Previous Customer Service support experience is strongly preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $20.42.
