$100,000-$135,250

SUMMARY

The Sr Data Analyst will be responsible for implementing data migration strategy as well as maintaining and managing data for ERPs/CRM systems as requested by the business either via scripts, tools, or other programs. This position is responsible for migrating legacy data to AX 2012 R3/D365(F&O and CE) using SSIS/ADF framework and DXIF. In this role, you will design and implement a migration framework or enhance the existing data migration framework developed by the Signode data team. This role will interact with users, collect daily data maintenance requirements, and create technical solutions. This role will be very hands-on and requires detailed knowledge of the data import export framework in AX 2012/D365 and functional expertise in different AX modules like finance, inventory, sales and order management, and manufacturing. This position will report to the Data and Integration Manager and work with the global team.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent
• 8 years of information technology experience
• 7 years of demonstrated experience implementing ERP, including at least two full life cycle implementations in a Data Analyst role
• 5 years of AX 2012/D365 experience
• 5 years of DIXF, SQL, and SSIS experience
• 2 years of experience using X coding
• 2 years of data entities and Azure data factory experience
• 3 years of experience using Atlas and writing templates for data uploads and reporting
• Expert knowledge of the data migration framework of AX and D365 F&O/CE
• Experience in legacy data migration to AX/D365 F&O
• Experience in creating data validation tools, templates, and documentation
• Experience with reporting tools like Management reports, Business documents, Power BI
• Experience with ETL in SQL, MS Data Factory, Synapse Pipelines, Store Procedures, Boomi, etc.
• Experience with integration tools to move data like Boomi, AIS
• D365 F&O data migration experience is preferred
• MDM experience preferred
• Experience with Azure Synapse, Data Lakes, Data Warehouse, SQL Server, Data Bricks, etc.

Key Responsibilities

• Contributing to defining data migration strategy and data load plan
• Design and development of SSIS/ADF packages to extract data from legacy systems
• Creating data extract templates and reviewing the data migration requirements with the source system and business teams
• Create SQL queries as needed per requirement
• Develop data import export tool (DIXF) and AX development using X
• Use functional experience to validate the migrated data in AX/D365
• Create templates using ATLAS to load/update data in different systems
• Data validation of migrated data between legacy and target system
• Creating functional and technical specifications
• Document business processes, data migration methodologies, data quality enhancements, validations, and reconciliation processes
• Work with the Master data management team to define and maintain master data across multiple ERPs
• Create data integrations between different systems using middleware like Boomi, AIS etc.
• Good team player and ability to work flexible hours and with different functional or area leads to validate data in various sources and destinations
