Position Highlights:
Play a pivotal role in optimizing reimbursement and tracking relevant data.
Ensure compliance with revenue integrity requirements, including Physician Certification/Recertification and Denial letters.
Chair revenue-related meetings and promptly respond to facility and regional team inquiries.
Promote accurate IDT documentation and provide education to facility staff.
Coordinate comprehensive care plans based on data collection and regulatory guidelines.
Participate in new MDS coordinator interviews, orientation, and ongoing education.
Qualifications:
Registered nurse with 3 years reimbursement or similar experience in the LTC industry (preferred).
Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Excellent written, verbal, and technological communication skills.
Strong organizational, analytical, and presentation abilities.
In-depth knowledge of state and federal regulations governing MDS and billing processes in the LTC setting.
Ability to collaborate with IDT members at facility, regional, and corporate levels.
