Healthcare Service Line Director develops and manages all functions within a specific service line e.g., oncology, cardiac, women's, orthopedics. Establishes effective strategies for programs, product/service line, and physician integration and resource utilizations with the goal of increasing service line growth, efficiency, and patient experience. Being a Healthcare Service Line Director requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Healthcare Service Line Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Healthcare Service Line Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     Demonstrates thought leader-level knowledge with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States (U.S. GAAP), United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (US GAAS) and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards, emphasizing an overall intimate understanding - for the respective industry - of the applicable business and accounting issues, and technical accounting and financial reporting standards.

    Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in the following areas:

    • Whole Leadership: setting and demonstrating high standards of integrity even in the face of ethical challenges; being inclusive in my actions and making sure others feel considered and respected; and, arranging appropriate assignments and experiences to support others' learning and development;
