Help Desk Manager manages the staff and operations of an organization's technical help desk. Ensures team members are trained and coached on effective methods to research, troubleshoot, deliver solutions, and access the current product or technical updates. Being a Help Desk Manager trains the team on the help desk systems and tools to identify, document, track, and resolve reported problems. Identifies and gathers key metrics to analyze the help desk performance and identify problem areas. Additionally, Help Desk Manager monitors and measures service metrics and volume to develop standards, improvements, or changes to workflows and resource allocation. Acts as an escalation point and facilitator for severe, critical, or unique issues. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The Help Desk Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Help Desk Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required.     ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
    As a potential Help Desk Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with a talented team of professionals at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, OH.     MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related area. A minimum of three years’ experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
    • Three to five years of recent experience with setup and/or administration of Windows 7/8/10, MS Windows 2008/2012/2016 Server, Office suite, and Active Directory.
    • Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience with emphasis on related issues including desktops, applications, network services, email/web services, and the Microsoft Office suite of products.
    • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
    • Ability to conduct research into issues and products as required.
    • Highly self-motivated and directed with a keen attention to detail and strong written/oral communication skills.
    • Candidates must be U.S. Citizens, plus have the ability to obtain a National Agency Check Investigation (NACI) in a timely manner.
    • Have a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in place with their company based on the potential access to confidential, proprietary, and/or sensitive information.

    Compensation / Salary Range: Greentree adheres to federal, state, and local regulations. This is a Full-Time, Salary, Exempt position. The following salary range is what we reasonably expect to pay but is contingent and subject to a variety of factors, including but not limited to years of experience, education, certification(s), training, specialized skills, responsibilities, etc.
