- Make sure you select the electronic option to expedite the process and save you some money
- The reason you are applying for an IVP card is to be a non-certificated public school employee. Make sure you check that box.
- Following completion of your application with DPS you will be directed to a link with Field Print. You must create an account with them as well and schedule your actual fingerprinting.
- Currently there is not a local Field Print location. You will have to go to Sedona or possible Flagstaff. We are hopeful Field Print will set up a location here very soon.
- Check the account on DPS after your fingerprints are done for notification that you have been issued a valid IVP Fingerprint Card; at that point we can move forward with the new hire onboarding process.
- You must use Google Chrome web browser. Other web browsers do not work.
Para Pro requirements: In order to be eligible for a position as a Para Pro in a P.U.S.D. elementary school prospective employee must meet
ONE of the following:
- High School diploma or GED AND An Associate’s degree or higher OR
- Completed two years of study (equaling 60 or more credit hours) from an accredited institution of higher education OR
- Obtained a passing score on one of the Arizona Department of Education approved **Para Pro assessments.

All Full time (6 or more hours per day) PUSD employees receive the following benefits in addition to their salary or hourly pay.
