IT Helpdesk Technician :
- Large-scale server migration project, involving the migration of approximately 20,000 servers to a new platform.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing migration requests, confirming, and verifying details, and ensuring that servers meet the necessary requirements for migration.
- Review server migration requests and verify the accuracy of the provided details
- Assess servers against a comprehensive checklist to determine their readiness for migration
- Ensure that all prerequisite steps are completed before initiating the migration process
- Process and request IP addresses for servers that require migration
- Maintain accurate documentation and track progress using Jira ticketing system
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth and efficient migration process
Qualifications :
- Experience working with Jira ticketing system and tracking projects
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail
- General understanding of server infrastructure and migration processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Previous experience in large-scale server migration projects will be a plus
- Knowledge of networking concepts and IP address management will be a plus
