Position Title : Teacher Assistant
Reports to and works with the classroom teacher, is supervised by the building principal, and the Program Supervisor. Responsible for assisting the classroom teacher with instruction and general supervision and management of the class.
Term of Employment : One Hundred Ninety Days (190) days
Immediate Supervisor : Building Level Principal
Qualifications :
Must have a warm and friendly personality, be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others, be able to relate well to students, and be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with the Trenton Special School District policies and philosophy.
Must be at least 18 years old and meet the requirements of ESSA Highly Qualified.
