Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Administrator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our home care agency. This leadership role is critical in maintaining compliance, managing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of care for our clients. The Administrator will act as the central point of contact for clients, families, and caregivers, while driving the agency’s success and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the home care agency.

• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.

• Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high standards of care.

• Monitor financial performance and manage the agency’s budget.

Staff Management:

• Manage and support a team of caregivers, providing guidance and training as needed.

• Conduct regular performance evaluations and address any issues or concerns.

• Oversee the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new staff members.

• Coordinate and facilitate regular staff meetings and training sessions.

Client Services:

• Coordinate client assessments and develop personalized care plans.

• Conduct in-home assessments to evaluate client needs and ensure proper care delivery.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and their families.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records.

• Resolve client and family concerns promptly and professionally.

Quality Assurance:

• Implement and monitor quality assurance programs to ensure continuous improvement.

• Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, referral sources, and community organizations.

• Ensure that caregivers are trained in and adhere to the agency’s policies on confidentiality, safety, and ethics.

• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare-related regulations.

Strategic Growth:

• Develop marketing strategies to promote the agency’s services and expand the client base.

• Analyze and report on operational metrics to senior management.

• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Emergency Preparedness:

• Manage emergency preparedness and response plans.

• Ensure proper scheduling and staffing to meet client needs during unexpected events.

Qualifications

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years in a leadership or administrative role in home care, healthcare, or a related field.

• Experience in conducting home assessments and managing care plans preferred.

Skills:

• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or a related field (preferred).

• Relevant certifications or equivalent experience will be considered.
