Hospital Staffing Coordinator jobs in Fayetteville, AR

Hospital Staffing Coordinator coordinates scheduling and staffing to ensure sufficient staff coverage for all shifts within a healthcare facility. Works with clinical and administrative departments to project staffing needs and achieve required staffing levels. Being a Hospital Staffing Coordinator utilizes and maintains staffing scheduling software/programs to schedule shifts, monitor staffing levels, and input related data. May perform other administrative functions as necessary. Additionally, Hospital Staffing Coordinator may be responsible for recruiting new staff. Typically requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Hospital Staffing Coordinator works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline.     Description

    The PCA Staffing Coordinator “2” is responsible for the recruitment, interviewing, and orientation for Personal Care Aides. Assist other Staffing Coordinator(s) with staffing members to ensure proper care coordination with nursing and outside case management agencies. Provide teaching and counseling to Personal Care Aides, report violations as required per State guidelines, and maintain a current complaint log. Will serve as the back-up in the absence of other Staffing Coordinator(s).

    Qualifications


    1. Minimum of one (1) year experience with general office duties preferred.
    2. Previous experience in leadership or management preferred.
    3. Knowledge of the ADvantage Waiver program preferred.
    4. Acceptance of philosophy and goals of this Agency.
    5. Ability to exercise initiative and independent judgment.
    6. Effective social interaction and communication skills.
    7. Efficient organizational skills with ability to multitask.
