JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Hotel Manager, the Housekeeping Supervisor
ensures that the entire hotel is clean. Also assist housekeeping in cleaning guest rooms as
needed. Supervises all housekeeping staff. Friendly, professional attitude always required.
Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays. A neat clean appearance is a must.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:- High school diploma/GED required.
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience required.
- Previous supervisory/management experience preferred.
- Must have a good understanding and working knowledge of chemical and cleaning
supplies and techniques/equipment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- High standards of personal hygiene.
- An awareness of health and safety issues.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal and employee relation skills.
- Must possess good organizational/time management skills.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must adhere to Legendary Waters Resort & Casino’s policies and procedures.
- Must adhere to all appearance and uniform standards.
- Inspects all guest rooms to ensure the highest cleaning standards are met.
- Expedites and oversees special request from the Front Desk.
- Supervises all hotel housekeeping staff.
- Trains all hotel housekeeping staff.
- Ensures all necessary supplies are ordered.
- Responds to guest inquiries of hotel needs.
- Assures that laundry is being done properly.
- Keeps inventory of all linens and supplies.
- Assists in cleaning guest rooms in accordance with established standards of cleanliness
and quality when necessary.
- Maintains a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment always.
- Understand the emergency procedures for the entire hotel.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
