Job Responsibilities
• Lead, manage, and mentor housekeeping staff to ensure quality standards are met
• Monitor housekeeping staff performance, provide guidance and feedback, and take corrective action when needed
• Create and implement standards and procedures for housekeeping staff
• Monitor and manage the daily operations of the housekeeping department
• Ensure that all housekeeping staff adhere to safety and security regulations
• Develop and maintain housekeeping budgets and control costs
• Plan and coordinate the scheduling of housekeeping staff
• Inspect rooms and common areas for cleanliness and order
• Ensure that all supplies and equipment are in good working condition
• Respond to guest complaints and ensure that they are adequately addressed
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure that the housekeeping needs are met
• Monitor inventory and purchase new supplies as needed
