Housekeeping Supervisor jobs in Rutland, VT

Killington, Vermont's largest hospitality management company—the Karr Group—is seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our team!

The Housekeeping Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the activities of all housekeeping staff. This includes scheduling and assigning tasks to housekeeping staff and ensuring sufficient daily staffing. Train, supervise, and evaluate housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective performance. Develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols to maintain a high standard of cleanliness. Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. Regularly inspect public and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards.

A valid driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company policy is required.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, cleaning methods, and industry best practices
• Familiarity with custodial and industrial cleaning procedures is a plus
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license and driving record in compliance with company policy
• Be able to lift 35 pounds
• Have the ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed
• Have the ability to read and understand labels on cleaning products and chemicals
• Uphold cleanliness standards to ensure a memorable guest experience
• Have good communication and interpersonal skills
• Have physical stamina and dexterity
• Available to work weekends
