We’re hiring a full-time Director, Communications & Marketing in our Executive Division.

As a Director, Communications & Marketing, you will play a crucial role in creating messaging that aligns with strategic plans and contributes to our mission. Your responsibilities will include:

• Collaboratively developing, and implementing, comprehensive internal and external communication plans.
• Planning communications and marketing strategies as needed with the divisions in our organization.
• Cultivating and maintaining relationships with members of the media, the public, public officials, staff, and partner organizations to foster awareness of housing programs and issues.
• Managing the planning and implementation of conferences, including working with division heads to identify relevant housing topics, speakers, creating agendas, and coordinating venue and technical details and support staff.
• Maintaining organization-wide communications, brand, and style guidelines to ensure consistency in messaging, and providing direction to staff in implementation.
• Providing creative marketing that considers digital consumer trends.
• Coordinating photographers and design vendors to support communications and marketing efforts.
• Fostering a culture of transparency and encouraging employee engagement by executing and maintaining internal communications efforts.
  
  

Your experience, skills, and education should include:

• Experience in communications, marketing, public relations, event planning, and management.
• Ability to work effectively with management, staff, board members, and partners.
•  Ability to identify, hire and manage work of consultants and contractors as needed to support communications work (graphic designers, video producers, website developers, conference speakers, filmmakers, etc.) 
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with O365, Adobe Creative Cloud, WordPress, Constant Contact, and other related organizational and communications software.
• Education: five to seven years relevant work experience, Master’s Degree in a related field preferred.
• For training purposes, the first six months of work will be in the office. Intermittent remote work is available after that time.

Starting Pay: $81,400 - $101,750, dependent on relevant experience
