Summary
Responsible for performing Human Resource functions related to Employee Benefit Packages and Workers Compensation.

Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent plus additional training
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 3-5 years experience, school setting preferred
- Fringe Benefits experience, school setting preferred
- Open Enrollment facilitation and processing
- Public Relations experience
- Contract interpretation and negotiation experience
- Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting experience
- Workers Compensation experience, school setting preferred
- Experience with Mac (Apple) and/or PC (Windows) computers
- Experience with New World finance system
- Experience with Frontline Time & Attendance (Aesop)
- Experience with Frontline Recruitment & Hiring (Applitrak)
- Experience with bswift or other online / electronic benefits enrollment system
- Experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and database software including, but not limited to Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides
- Ability to use and maintain office machines including but not limited to: scanners, copiers, printers, fax machines
Job Responsibilities
- HR Functions as assigned, including but not limited to:
- Absence management and time reporting
- Onboarding and Exiting
- FMLA and Leave tracking and reporting
- Background checking
- Job posting, vacancy tracking
- Processing of New Hire paperwork, Verifications of Employment
- Collective Bargaining Contract interpretation
- Workers Compensation tracking and reporting
- Benefits enrollment tracking and reporting
- Benefits enrollment and tracking

Affordable Care Act (ACA) reporting
- Database management for multiple benefits enrollment systems
- Open Enrollment preparation, facilitation, communication, auditing, and processing
- Answer phones and walk-in visitors
- Assist in general email inbox maintenance
- Back up other offices as needed
- Other duties as assigned
This is a full time position requiring regular and reliable attendance on site to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
