    Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the accounting functions within our company. This role will focus on ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information while managing a team of accounting professionals. Given the nature of our business and client base, proficiency in both Korean and English is highly beneficial for effective communication and support. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills to guide the financial operations and support strategic business decisions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.

    Prepare and review financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

    Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and analysis of financial data.

    Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and enhance financial integrity.

    Collaborate with internal teams to provide budget oversight, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.

    Supervise, train, and mentor accounting staff to maintain high performance and promote professional development.

    Conduct periodic audits and coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and reviews.

    Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to increase efficiency and accuracy within the accounting department.

    Assist with tax preparation, filings, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

    Support senior management in financial decision-making and strategic planning by providing accurate financial information and analyses.


    Qualifications:

    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or CMA certification preferred.

    5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.

    Strong knowledge of accounting principles, regulations, and financial reporting standards (GAAP).

    Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems; advanced knowledge of Excel.

    Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English is strongly preferred to effectively communicate with our diverse clientele and team members.

    Excellent analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.

    Effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
