The Job in a Nutshell:

The Intern supports various project initiatives across MEDCO. This entry level position is a terrific opportunity for you to get in on the ground floor of Economic Development, commercial real estate, and construction management in the state of Maryland. This is a busy hands-on role supporting various teams at MEDCO. The Intern will be able to balance the operational and administrative aspects of the job to meet the requirements of MEDCO. This person plays an integral role in supporting MEDCO.  This position reports to the Office Manager.  

A Day in the Life of the Administrative Coordinator:
You may be wondering, "what would I do in this job?" Here is a snapshot of what to expect in this job...

• Provide administrative support to the project development team, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel arrangements.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of project proposals, bids, and contracts.
• Collaborate with internal departments to gather necessary documentation and information for project development activities.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project files, records, and documentation.
• Assist in conducting research and analysis to support project planning and decision-making processes.
• Assist in preparing project status reports, presentations, and other deliverables as required.
• Coordinate communication between project team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
• Track project budgets, expenses, and invoicing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance project development efficiency and effectiveness.

Is This You:

• College Coursework in progress
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Demonstrated proficiency with research, planning, and evaluation.
• Strong organizational and planning skills and attention to detail, with ability to anticipate, initiate, and advance multiple priorities and projects concurrently.
• Video Conferencing to conduct meetings and events via Teams, Zoom, or other video conferencing technology.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
