Job Title: Operations Assistant

Position Summary: Chattanooga Girls Leadership Academy/Montessori Elementary Highland Park are seeking a
Human Resources / Operations Assistant responsible for providing administrative and operational support. In
addition to the daily operations responsibilities listed below, (s)he may serve as the administrative back-up to the
Director of HR & Operations.

Duties & Responsibilities: Responsible for all duties directly related to school nutrition,
transportation and student recruitment efforts.

School Nutrition

• Supervise weekly menus and ensure menus are in daily compliance with all State and USDA mandates and

• Manage all meal scheduling requests through vendor for special events and field trips
• Track all meal counts and daily attendance reports
• Manage all aspects of CEP breakfast and lunch program-process to include collection of all CEP data and

Transportation

• Local manager for transportation, ensuring ongoing monitoring and proper implementation of contract
• Respond to and resolve routine internal and external inquiries with parents, employees, and vendor

Student Recruitment

• Assists the Director of HR & Operations for the purpose of implementing the recruitment strategic plan

school programs, and presenting at meetings, canvassing the community, performing street outreach, and
attends local recruitment fairs at local elementary and middle Schools for student recruitment

• Designs presentations to students, parents, businesses, the general public and other groups for the

• Maintain student applications and responsible for entire acceptance process
• Designs, plans, and schedules student orientation for new students

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• MUST demonstrate advanced skills in Excel
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion
• Excellent problem solving/judgment skills, and high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational skills, and the ability to work under pressure
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines

Starting Salary: $35,000 plus benefits
