Hudson Valley Credit Union is currently recruiting for the position of Operations Analyst. Primary Function: design, build, and maintain job files in the core processing and automation system. Collaborate with applications/programming areas to design job work flows. Monitor Credit Union core processing system and associated equipment. Check accuracy and relevance of input and output data by visual examination, correcting codes, and batching for computer processing.
Responsibilities
- Initiate, maintain and complete daily and end of period processes and maintain a quality resolution/turnover process.
- Provide monitoring and support of core processing and automation system when scheduled to work and when on call. Monitor jobs to ensure they complete normally, monitor system messages, recognize and respond to abnormal system activity and works with IT vendors when necessary to resolve problems.
- Maintain Operations procedures and schedules. Implement new processes and procedures when directed by IT Applications/Programming Specialists or IT Management. Research and suggest process changes and enhancements to IT Operations Supervisor/IT Management.
- Perform document import, storage, and maintenance functions in document imaging system.
- Verify and distribute host system output to appropriate end users.
- Perform routine backup procedures and maintain backup media and off-site storage.
- Assist in testing and implementation of software upgrades, enhancement, and fixes.
- Serve as limited backup to the IT Help desk and escalate end-user calls to appropriate IT representatives.
- Adhere to all Credit Union policies, procedures, and regulatory agency requirements. Participate in all required and recommended training and development including, but not limited to, Bank Secrecy Act training (BSA) and demonstrate attained knowledge. Participate on Credit Union teams, projects and strategic initiatives when the opportunity arises. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or at least 2 years equivalent experience for each undergraduate year not completed; undergraduate degree cannot substitute for minimum number of years of experience Information Technology required
- Minimum 2 Years Related experience in Computer Science experience required
