Position Summary:
Using Ultipro and PeopleMatter software, supports field supervisory personnel with HR related functions to ensure team members are paid accurately, that policies and laws are applied correctly and that team member records are maintained and up to date.
Responsibilities:
• Supports field supervisory personnel in assigned states. Responds to phone calls and emails and provides guidance related to team member HR data processes.
• Validates and/or updates any data keyed in the field. Keys all rehires, transfers, pay increases, promotions and demotions in assigned states.
• Prepares data for personnel files by organizing paperwork, creating and printing coversheets for scanning.
• Researches issues by reviewing audit trails and stored documents (housed in Image Silo and Filesurf)
• Reviews I-9s and other documentation to make sure that policies and laws are being adhered to and advises field supervisory personnel of any issues that arise.
• Handles other projects as needed including relationships with outside vendors, ordering department supplies, regular mailings, triaging calls, etc.
Working Relationships: Interacts on a daily basis with Retail field supervisory personnel from Store Managers up to Division Vice Presidents. Occasional contact with outside vendors.
Minimum Education: High School
Preferred Education: Associates or some college
Minimum Experience: One year office experience with a customer service focus, some data entry
Preferred Experience: Basic Microsoft Word and Excel
Soft Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, service oriented, solid organizational skills
Hours & Conditions: Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
