  • GI Alliance is seeking an experienced HRIS Analyst II.

    Duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:


    Position purpose

    GIA seeks an innovative and self-driven HRIS Analyst II to be part of a dynamic HR team. you will play a crucial role in supporting our HRIS initiatives, particularly focusing on Paycom. You will be responsible for assisting in the implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of our HRIS systems to ensure optimal functionality and data integrity. This role offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the continuous improvement of our HR processes.

    Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:

    • Assist in the implementation, configuration, and customization of Paycom modules based on business requirements.
    • Support day-to-day system administration tasks, including user management, security setup, and data management.
    • Perform regular audits and data validation checks to ensure accuracy and completeness of HR data within HRIS system (Paycom).
    • Collaborate with HR stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide technical support and solutions.
    • Assist in the development and maintenance of HRIS documentation, including process flows, user guides, and training materials.
    • Participate in testing activities for system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
    • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in HR technology, particularly related to Paycom or similar systems.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred (Human Resources, Computer Science, or related field) or equivalent work experience.

    Experience:

    • 2-4 years of functional and technical experience working with similar HRIS platform.
    • Understanding of HR processes and data management principles.
    • Ability to learn new systems and understand configuration, customization and workflows.
    • Passion to keep learning and growing.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Proven ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
    • HR certifications (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus
    • Advanced level in Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables, IF statements, etc.) required.
    • Continuous improvement mindset and a passion for measuring results through data and metrics.
    • Ability to provide team members with excellent customer service while following GIAs policies and procedures.
    • Ability to show discretion with confidential information.

    Performance Requirements:

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Proficient technical (computer) skills.
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
    • Self-motivated with initiative.
    • Strong sense of ethics.

    Equipment Operated: This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

    Work Environment: This job operates in professional office environments.

    Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
