Being a HRIS Clerk generates standard reports for Human Resources or managing personnel. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Additionally, HRIS Clerk typically reports to a supervisor. The HRIS Clerk possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Position Overview:
Provides clerical support to the staff of the Office of the Hillsborough County Attorney, thereby assisting its goal of reaching dispositions that are fair and just.
General Responsibilities:
Under the general supervision of the County and the Office Manager, the incumbent will answer incoming calls and will receive visitors to the office of the Hillsborough County Attorney. They will open, sort and distribute incoming mail and enter all necessary information into the computer. The incumbent is responsible for preparing the monthly jury list and will conduct criminal and motor vehicle record checks.
Qualifications:
· High School diploma with a minimum of two years’ experience as an office assistant or such other experience as the County Attorney finds to be equivalent
· Must possess a valid driver’s license with reliable and available means of transportation as some traveling may be requested
· Must possess exceptional typing, organization and communications skills
