HRIS Director directs the operations of an organization's human resource information systems. Analyzes business requirements and determines hardware and software requirements to meet data management needs. Being an HRIS Director ensures the integrity of internal database files, tables and reports. May develop integrated web-based HR programs. Additionally, HRIS Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The HRIS Director typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. To be an HRIS Director typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. This position provides day-to-day functional support for multiple comprehensive human resource information systems and is responsible for compiling data and conducting related analyses, ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing/analyzing and data flows for process improvement opportunities. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Finance or related field, preferred.

License/Certifications: N/A

Experience: 2 years’ experience working with report writing, relational databases concepts, data management/analysis, project implementation planning. Lawson/Infor experience preferred. Experience with creating queries using multiple query tools with the ability to deliver concise, accurate reports and analysis through report writing and validation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with excellent Excel analytical skills

Strong customer service-orientation to help the business understand the systems and data available

Ability to work well in a team environment as well as be self-directed and work independently

Knowledge of HR processes and HR data.
