HRIS Manager manages and oversees an organization's Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Develops, implements, and modifies software and hardware requirements based on changing business requirements. Being a HRIS Manager maintains internal database files and tables, and develops custom reports to meet the requirements of company management and staff. Provides the necessary training to meet end users needs. Additionally, HRIS Manager typically requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Typically reports to Director. The HRIS Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Experience and Education:
Required:
· 5 years proven project management experience 5 years of demonstrated project management experience of a project that encompassed the full system development life cycle from initiation through post implementation with a public sector client in the U.S., including a minimum of three (3) years of HCM-related implementation experience (e.g., onboarding, recruiting, time & attendance, etc.).
· 5 years leading large and complex multiple technology platforms and enterprise projects involving business, technical and cross-functional teams which includes scope and requirements definition, problem solving and process improvements, leading distributed teams in complex environments such as on premise, cloud, or hybrid.
· 5 years end to end experience with large-scale implementation projects utilizing industry standard development and service delivery methodologies.
· 5 years’ experience utilizing Software Development methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall as well as managed services support structure and best practices.
· 3 years’ experience with RFP process, contract negotiation, vendor and portfolio management.
· Proficiency with MS Project, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio

Highly Preferred:
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Computer Science, or related field.
· Current PMP/CSM/PMI-ACP or equivalent certification.
· Previous functional/technical HCM, Payroll and Financials deployment experience either as an internal consultant or with a consulting/software organization
· Previous HCM, Payroll and Financials implementation experience preferably in a government setting.
· General experience in government implementations.
