Summary:

The Capital Markets Analyst will work closely with investors, due diligence firms, warehouse counterparties, and the operations group on a day-to-day basis.  This individual will need to have complex problem solving skills and be able to work cross functionally across the organization. Lima One is looking for an individual with strong communication and analytical skills to fill this role. 

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Execute firm’s loan transfers and financing
• Primary contact with investor’s collateral team, as well as 3rd party Custodians. 
• Provide loan tapes, to capital partners quickly and accurately, while having a strong understanding of loan level details
• Assist the team in answering investor questions, explain underwriting guidelines and defend loan decisions quickly and accurately 
• Clear data variances for loan files through 3rd party due diligence firms
• Track reporting of Due Diligence results through internal tools
• Prepare and review Settlement Statements for Loan Transfers
• Communicate status of sales/financings to all internal (post-closing, servicing, finance) and external stakeholders’ investors, warehouse providers
• Quickly and accurately provide loan diligence files to investors and lenders
• Minimize post-closing exceptions in loan sales/financing transactions
• Assist in Pricing Exceptions
• Create daily warehouse reports out of WLS or similar warehouse line tracking programs
• Assist funding specialist in loan uploads to applicable warehouse lines
• Work with warehouse collateral team to clear any exceptions
• Create payoff reports to warehouse lines for loan transfers/sales
• Backup for Funding Specialist

Requirements

• Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of company systems, databases, and reports including WLS, NSS, and The Mortgage Office
• Encyclopedic knowledge of BPL underwriting and Lima One underwriting guidelines
• Basic understanding of warehouse, line of credit, and loan sale agreements
• Business partnering
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a complex team environment 
• Ability to work autonomously and manage tight deadlines
