    Description:
    Waypoint’s client is seeking a Data Analyst/Action Officer to support their Army customer in Huntsville, AL.
    ​​Responsibilities:
    Candidates would be responsible for anticipating the needs of management and proactively addressing issues with an emphasis on sound judgment, and initiative. Work closely with a high-performing, fast-paced team to support government clients. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of various executives' styles, methods of operation, and authorities. Perform tasks in a variety of areas to include:
    • Tracking important milestones or actions for management/team
    • Prioritize work by considering its risk, importance, urgency, and potential business, organizational, and client implications
    • Knowledge of DoD policies and procedures
    • Interact with clients, government officials and other executives in the private sector
    • Verbal and written communications must be timely and demonstrate the consistent ability to presents ideas and communicate information in a clear and concise manner
    • Drafting, writing and editing reports, briefs, correspondence and other documents
    • Laisse with key internal and external stakeholders      
    Required Skills:
    • Bachelors Degree or higher
    • 3 years for experience
    • Extensive experience with MS Office, Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint
    • Strong written and oral communication skills, detail oriented, strong organizational skills
    • Proven ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
    • Excellent attention to details and diligent adherence to deadlines and deliverables
    • A high-level performer with the ability to be proactive and respond rapidly to changing conditions in a fast-paced environment
    • Strong organizational skills
    Desired Skills:
    • Former Military or DoD Staff Experience
    • Knowledge of business intelligence platforms (PowerBi, Tableau, etc.) preferred
    Required Education:
    Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Cyber, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or other STEM discipline however, years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
