    Working within the Human Resources (HR) function, this role is responsible for driving and enabling the Truist Human Capital Analytics strategy through the use of human capital data to solve complex talent and business challenges. Reporting to the Human Capital Analytics & Organization Effectiveness leader this role will drive and support efforts and programs that improve the organization's effectiveness and efficiency by providing data-driven talent insights using quantitative and qualitative methods to identify opportunities for individual, team and organization performance improvement. The role will consult directly with LOB leaders and Senior HR leaders to analyze information propose actionable insights and enable leaders to integrate data into daily decisions as well as strategic planning.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Manages HR analytics projects with moderate resource requirements, risk and complexity largely developed to solve business challenges
    2. Performs sophisticated HR data analytics (inferential statistical analysis or predictive modeling for example)
    3. Collects and prepares HR data for analysis, performs exploratory to advanced predictive analysis and identifies relationships and patterns / trends.
    4. Conducts data mining and complex statistical analysis of available people (HR) and financial data to determine correlation, causality and predictive modeling to resolve business situations.
    5. Uses sophisticated analytical thought to exercise judgment and identify innovative solutions.
    6. Works independently with some guidance on complex or unusual situations.
    7. Leverage tools such as Python, R, Tableau, Qlik, Visier and Excel to drive analytics and enable self-service on routine queries.


    QUALIFICATIONS
    Required Qualifications:

    1. Technical experience with Python, R, Tableau, Qlik, MicroStrategies and other Analytic tools
    2. Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    3. 5 years of demonstrated experience in HR, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Analytics, Data Science or other related disciplines.
    4. Ability to exercise judgment in solving technical, operational and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities.
    5. Sophisticated analytical skills and the ability to solve complex, technical and business problems.
    6. Ability to present data in a logical, concise manner.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    1. Master's Degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics, Business, Math, Computer Science, MIS, Analytics, Data Science or other related fields.
    2. Previous experience in Banking / Financial Services Industry
    3. Formal project management training or certification (PMI)

    Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
    Travel
    Minimal and up to 10%
    Physical Conditions / Environment  
    Normal office environment where there is little or no discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise, or other disagreeable elements.
