GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY: The Data Analyst is responsible for overseeing the Rhode Island Nurses Institute Middle College Charter High School’s (RINI) comprehensive strategy for managing and using student data. The Data Analyst provides reports for the analysis and interpretation of assessment data as it relates to individual student achievement and school improvement. The Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining accurate and confidential data files and will work to support data literacy training for teachers and administrators in the use of data to improve instruction. This position will also apply appropriate statistical measurements to data, review school and State data to develop comparison trends, and design and develop reports as requested. In addition, the Data Manager will be expected to manage the PowerSchool student information system and its relevant applications, as it relates to accountability metrics and state reporting.
