The job of Director of Human Resources is done for the purpose/s of managing District-wide Human Resources operations and activities for classified and certified personnel; providing information and recommendations to the Board, Superintendent, staff and public; and addressing a wide variety of administrative processes. This job reports to the Superintendent.

Working Environment
The usual and customary methods of performing the jobs functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 60% sitting, 35% walking, and 5% standing. This job is performed in a generally clean and healthy environment.
Experience; Job-related experience in Human Resources is required.
Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources or job-related area is required.
Certificates: Human Resources Certification (PHR or SPHR) is preferred.
Clearances: Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance.
Valid Driver’s License
