We are seeking a dedicated Resource Officer to join our team. The Resource Officer will play a crucial role in managing various human resources functions within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee performance management processes and provide guidance to employees
- Manage and negotiate Collective Bargaining Agreements
- Communicate effectively with employees regarding HR policies and procedures
- Manage Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requests
- Utilize Payroll and HR software for HR tasks
- Collect and analyze data related to HR metrics
- Handle workers' compensation claims efficiently
- Manage Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliance
Skills
- Strong proficiency in performance management practices
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
- Excellent supervisory skills to lead HR staff effectively
- Exceptional communication skills to interact with employees at all levels
- Knowledge of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) regulations
- Familiarity HR software for administrative tasks
- Ability to collect and analyze data for informed decision-making
- Proficient in handling workers' compensation matters
- Understanding of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines
