The DLP Services, LLC is currently accepting applications for the position of:
- POSITION TITLE: Human Resources Assistant.
- Location: Pharr, TX
- Hire Pay: $17-20hr.
Classification:- Full time.
JOB SUMMARY:- Assists with staffing and pre-hire activities, including coordinating the background screening process.
- Ability to execute and support HR initiatives, policies, and procedures
- Leadership and training abilities
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation
- Composure and confidentiality on disciplinary and grievance issues
- Maintains reports and responds to internal and external requests for information.
- Administrative duties including maintaining employee records, EEO data, etc.
- Compliance with all policies and legal requirements
- Additional responsibilities as assigned by HR Director.
QUALIFICATIONS:- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Working understanding of human resource principals, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and function well in a fast paced, sometimes stressful environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel Spreadsheets, Dropbox
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:- Receives supervision from the Human Resources Director. Position has formal assigned supervisory responsibility and authority. Must complete jobs without constant supervision.
WORKING CONDITIONS:- The principal duties of this position are performed in an indoor office environment.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY:- This position is subject to the DLP Services LLC, Drug Free Workplace Policy which includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education and Experience:- Bachelor of Business Administration or two years’ experience in related field.
Other:- Valid Drivers’ License Class C.
